Volunteering Opportunities

The Annual AAPI Policy Forum

Help us with hosting our Annual Asian Policy Forum.

Our Legislative Reception is an opportunity for the community to network with top community officials, state legislatures, and business leaders. It takes place at the beginning of February.

You can help with networking management, guest welcoming, event supervision, logistic detail execution, and greeting legislators, policymakers and senior members of the Executive Branch.

The Annual Asian Chamber Gala

The Virginia Asian Foundation ‘s Annual Asian Chamber Gala celebrates our Asian community’s vast contribution to American prosperity. It is our largest, most established Asian Cultural Business Gala where Culture and Commerce meet.

Volunteer opportunities are diverse. We need everything from Gala Greeters to Cultural Performers, event Supervisors, to Networking Reception Supervisors, and other important management tasks.

Calling for Multilingual Talents

We seek apprentices who can help translate and interpret in Cambodian, Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean languages.

We would love to work with talented multilingual Volunteers!  Please send an inquiry to My Lan Tran, Executive Director at: mylantran@aabac.org

Students will have the opportunity to engage directly with communities from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Assignments are available on an as needed basis in all major Virginia regions. Asian American small businesses and communities from Northern, Central, and Southeastern Virginia need you!
