About the Virginia Asian Foundation

T

About the Foundation: The Virginia Asian Foundation, recognized as an IRS C3 Non-Profit Charitable association, is committed to improving the quality of life for Asian Americans in Virginia. We focus our service and advocacy on helping the community to make connections within mainstream society through social, cultural, and economic integration.

We are grateful for the support from various organizations, governments, non-profits, and individuals. Thanks to their support the Foundation has been able to effectively address the needs of our communities in education, cultural integration, access to capital, free health care for the non-insured, and small business safety; wellness, mental health, mobility, and broadband, as some of the most important needs of the Asian American communities.

Our committees are tasked with focusing on five key areas:

1. Student success development (k-12- Higher education, skills training)

2.Community socio-economic sustainability

3.Cultural heritage preservation

4.Civic empowerment

5.Social and economic diversity and inclusion
