APPRENTICESHIP INCENTIVES

Based on fund availability, Virginia Asian Foundation offers several Internship Incentives for eligible students. This award program is a need-based award offered to help selected students off-set the cost of schoolbooks.

To be considered for the annual incentive stipend awards

There is no application for the award to fill out. You need to write us a one-page Letter of Interest. There is an active waiting list.

Academic standing and eligibility

Student interns must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program of study, have not earned a prior bachelor’s degree, and be in good academic standing.

Awards Selection

  • Priority is given to students who have not previously received this award.

  • Selected students are only eligible to receive one award per program year in an amount determined by the Virginia Asian Foundation.

  • The award is not payment for an internship. It is rather a stipend. This award is designed to off-set the costs of schoolbooks and offering students practical work experience and mentorship.
