On June 9, 2016, the Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce hosted the 4 Annual State of Virginia Business Lunch with the Honorable Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe.

Held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Richmond, Virginia, 90 representatives from various businesses and organizations were in attendance of the standing-room only event honoring Governor McAuliffe, who received the Visionary Leadership Economic Award of 2015 for his continued service of promoting economic growth in the Commonwealth.

Also in attendance was a local performance group, River City Taiko, who performed a five-minute piece on the traditional Japanese taiko drums.

The event was a major networking opportunity for those in attendance, allowing VACC to continue to uphold its message for building successful relationships among its members. VACC would like to thank the office of Governor McAuliffe as well as the Education Sponsors (Dominion and Altria), the Governor Reception Sponsors (Fayad Law, P.C. and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts), the Governor Celebration Sponsors (Harlan Lee & Associates LLC and the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business), and the Governor Program Sponsors (City of Richmond, Solar Electric America, and Ahmad Associates), for this event could not be held without the help from  our sponsors and the governor’s continued support of our organization.
