Connecting Asian American Pacific entrepreneurs with each others and mainstream Virginia through resources, networking, business development opportunities, and public and economic policy advocacy.

We hope to make this site a tool for Asian American businesses in the Commonwealth of Virginia and around the world. Please bookmark and come back frequently as we have frequent event updates. Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce ( VACC) is Virginia’s Pan Asian leading business advocacy organization working on behalf of more than 44,000 Asian American companies which employ more than 77.000 employees and creating 8 billion dollars in revenue.

The Chamber has the dual purpose of fostering economic development in the Virginia Asian-American communities and promoting trade between Virginia and Asia. Headquartered in Ashland, The Chamber has four active satellite offices in Central Virginia, the Hampton Roads, Fairfax, & Charlottesville. We also have a representation in Abingdon, Virginia.

The Chamber was incorporated in 2004 as a Virginia non-profit corporation and has been qualified as a tax exempt organization under Sct 501(c) (6) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. We are partially funded by the Virginia Asian Foundation. a 501 (c) (3) charitable non profit organization.

Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce proudly announces its Second Annual Scholarship Program to promote the entrepreneur spirit in Asian and other youth and students within the context of global business opportunities and challenges.

The program supports both secondary and higher education and encourages students at the high school and undergraduate college levels to consider entrepreneurship as a career.

Award winners will be recognized for a combination of their academics and community achievements. Three (3) awards will be given this year – one at $1000, one at $750, and one at $500. Winners will be recognized at success at the 2nd Annual Asian Chamber Gala and Banquet to be held Wednesday December 1st, 2010 from 6 pm until 10 pm at the Jefferson Hotel in the heart of Virginia’s capital.

All applications must be received no later than 5 pm on Friday October 8^th.
