Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce hosts an Asian international language class, "Essential Mandarin Chinese for Everyday Use ". It's a 12 week intensive langage program for BIGINNERS.
Dates: Tuesdays Sept 9, 16, 23, 30; Oct 7, 14, 21, 28; Nov. 4, 18; Dec 2, 9. From 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at SunTrust Bank, 919 East Main Street, Richmond, VA 23219. VACC Office on the First Floor.
VACC offers free parking inside the SunTrust Bank., corner of 9th and E Cary street, downtown Richmond.
We train individuals who have never taken Mandarin training or those who have already taken some classes, but need much more training to move to the advanced level learning pinyin (Simplified Chinese). We focus on basic speaking / reading / writing skills for professionals and businesses wishing to use or improve Chinese language use in their family life, at their job, or doing business with countries where Mandarin Chinese is spoken.
Cost:
- Members and Early Birds pay $200. Early bird date deadline is before August 15, 2008. Members can pay members rate at any time or on September 9, 2008.
- Non Members who pay on or before September 9, 2008: $235.
- Text book to be purchased: 1 (under $20.00).
