Are you interested in entrepreneurship or economic development?  The Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce offers a range of internships throughout the acdemic year including the summer.
 
 
Internship Eligibility

Business Interns working for the Asian Chamber are usually the top students in their selected majors/areas of study. They are mature, independant and team players at the same time, and are serious in their fields of study.
 
Selected interns enjoy working and interacting with peoples from all multicultural background from all over the world.
 
At internship admission time, they must be at least at a junior class level at an undergraduate major in an accredited American college or university.
 
Scholarships will be made availble for all students who have successful completed their internships with the Asain Chamber.

Daily internship activities
 
Interns directly assist with conducting domestic and international market research - business development assistance- promtion and marketing projects on behalf of Virginia companies or international firms seeking sourcing materials or potential Virginia and global trade partners.
 
Our interns provide support to develop marketing and business development activities.
 
Interns may also help prepare seminar presentations and they are asked to assist with producing publications or various education and research related projects.
 
Other tasks may involve data entry, client surveys, database research and compilation.
 
Students arrange their own schedules. They normally work between 8 and 10 hours per week.
 
Academic credits ( Graduate as well as undergraduate levels) can be arranged.
