My Lan Tran, VACC Executive Director, was featured as Keynote Speaker in Chesterfield County, Virginia on the topic of Asian Business Culture and Etiquette, stressing on the importance of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) activities from major Asian markets and the history of these FDI activities in the Commonwealth.
On May 19, 2015, Director My Lan spoke to a crowed audience of 60 + employees coming from a dozen of diverse departments of the County ( IT-Economic Development, Planning, and a dozen other departments) during May is Asian Heritage Month in 2015. The county hosts a monthly educational program as it prepares itself as an international county, ready to greet future prospect international investors.
VACC Power Point presentation will be made available to all employees in major departments across the county. Director My Lan ‘s presentation at Chesterfield County will benefit the entire county in its quest and mission to be an international county in all areas of workforce development, economic development, and cross-cultural affiliation through VACC ‘s vast Asian country knowledge base and Asian business and Asian community connections.
